Dog days at the museum
Bank of Hawaii continues to sponsor its popular Family Sunday events at the Honolulu Museum of Art. This month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 18, kids can celebrate the Year of the dog as they learn basic calligraphy, learn about their zodiac sign, play mah jong, make a dragon headband or make a dog puppet. Plant a forest
Help plant seedlings, harvest sweet potatoes, pull weeds and learn about native plants at the Honolulu Zoo’s Children’s Discovery Forest 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 17.
